For the final weekends Gandelow Gang classes the kids got to make their very own ‘goldfish in a bowl’. It was so cute. First they got to make and mix some plaster, and Grainne and I poured the mix into cute little fish moulds ( I couldn’t resist buying the moulds on my last visit [&hellip

The school holidays are upon us so I’ve been exploring some fun, simple and inexpensive ideas to liven up the back garden for Molly – it’s hard to justify buying climbing frames and playhouses in this country when the next rain shower is just a day away at best. Please Mother Nature… prove me wrong [&hellip
Aren’t these clay figures absolutely gorgeous? they’re just one of the three projects the kids got to explore and enjoy at saturday’s arts and craft class, with my awesomely talented buddie Shelagh Flannery. Yesterday’s arts and crafts class for the 3-5yo group made me a very happy MommyMoo. Just five short weeks ago the very young kids came in gingerly with their mums, stayed by their sides and worked away together. Today’s Gandelow Gang classes were a hoot. Led by ceramicist, and fellow kidult, Shelagh Flannery the kids started by teaching HER how to draw a dog, and then they set about making one in clay. Shelagh had pre-thrown the bodies and, for close to an hour, the kids thumped, rolled, prodded, scratched and molded the [&hellip
