Archives for March 2015
I'm getting ready to shoot the breeze tomorrow for a few screen days free by the coast with Miss8, but before I go I wanted to share a cute spring craft with you, a quick 10 minute bit of chicken paper crafting fun with balloons!!

Make sure you're following my Spring and Easter pinterest board for ooodles more inspiration daily
We're going away for a few days next week for the Easter holidays and I'm planning on bringing a few bits and pieces of materials with us for some evening crafting or for some screen-free distraction when it's raining - after all it is March in Ireland, so showers are inevitable!!! Simplicity will be our watchword so I road-tested this quick no-mess Easter Bunny paper weaving art activity today to check if it would be a winner. Use these alongside our super sweet printable Easter treat boxes and you’re sure to have a cute and fun-filled Easter celebration! It's time for kids to smash a cute post-it note bunny to pieces and screech as heaps of candy scatters everywhere!
With less than one week to go before Easter school holidays Miss Molly is all about bunnies, chocolate, sleeping-in and playing dolls for days on end!! Yesterday evening we turned our attention to how to decorate the door or hallway for the Easter Bunny, make him feel welcome and all that, entice him to leave more chocolate perhaps, and the wonderful Easter printables from Smallful were 'just the ticket'. We loved the choice of printable bunny ears, top hats and diorama easter eggs but Molly, being a 'dress-up doll' kinda gal of course went for Bernie, the dress-up wall bunny puppet. After a quick download and print we were ready to cut, punch and pin the pieces together... the process of making was every bit as fun and engaging as was the dress-up part xx
My latest Easter bunny craft inspiration began with the new Happy Handmade eBook, launched in January, filled cover to cover with doable and unique projects. I loved the simplicity of little animal necklaces and pendants created by Willow Day for the book, made from basic furniture felt pads that you get in hardware stores and supermarkets! and decided to give them a go!
