mollymoo-michelle-mc-inerneyAs an Irish working mum (graphic designer) wife, and everything in between. I am a self-confessed craftaholic called Michelle McInerney,  inspired each and every day by really clever design and everything handmade.

I took the plunge and first started blogging in 2010, not knowing where it would lead. It was a place to speak and share as I went on this fun little journey – as mum to my now 7yo daughter Molly.

MollyMoo is a mum’s blog focused on craft – crafts for children, and crafts for parents, craft tutorials, design finds and fairies of course! My blog is my virtual home, welcome in..

MollyMoo was humbled at winning ‘Best Craft Blog’ and ‘Best Designed Blog’ in the Blog Awards Ireland 2012 and 2013.

What a lovely blog! innovative idea’s, anything that keeps kids away from the TV and gets creativity flowing, inspiration for all mom’s & babysitters.
I will be keeping an eye on this one. Best of luck Mollymoo.

Thanks Maeve. Don’t forget ‘the dads’!! although they don’t really like getting glitter under their fingernails.

  5. Nettie says:

    Congratulations mollymoo! Love the site.
Eating out with three young children in Limerick was to be avoided until we discovered the Bambino Menu for children in the Bella Italia, on Thomas Street. The kids love the meatballs with spaghetti and the penne with tomato sauce. Dinner, ice-cream and a drink for €8 per child, they are well fed in a very child friendly atmosphere.

  6. Nettie says:

Have you read ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ by Julia Donaldson, author of ‘The Gruffalo’
Fabulous story. Check out for wonderful value in children’s books and box sets.

About the gymnastics club, does anyone know of a gymnastics club for boys? I contacted the Limerick gymnastics club and was told that it was girls only also and the other class in the Mary I was full.. this is a great website thank you..

  17. mollymoo says:

Hi Orla, great to hear from you.
Try Sara Barry of Elite Gymnastics Club on 085-2442776 she will best advise. New gymnastics club stating September in the UL Arena.

  18. liz.kelly says:

With regard to Kindermusik, there’s a really brilliant Kindermusik teacher called Karen who has been looking for a suitable space in the city in which to hold baby and toddler singing – I went with Conor last Spring, she held classes in the community centre in Caherconlish and she really is great. A qualified music teacher (degree holder) and a mum of young children herself.
