And the Oscar goes to…

We live in a total fairytale in our house – I spend weekends picking up M’s ‘glass slipper’ and putting saucers of milk on the floor so she can be a cat!!. Last weekend M pinned a long stream of toilet paper onto her ‘real hair’ and threw it over the stairs balcony calling ‘Mum, Mum…you be the prince and climb up’ – Act One, Scene One Rapunzel.

I have the usual Sleeping Beauty and Snow White costumes for her to be changing in and out of…and a few ‘less nauseating’ ones too. Here are a few local and online sources I have used for the dress up box:

– for Dance Costumes and ballet shoes go to Dance City, Roches Street
– for princess dresses, fairy wings & glass slippers go to Smyths and Claire’s Accessories in The Crescent

– Fabulous jungle animal costumes: (we have the zebra & horse over)
– Best ballet outfits visit Frilly Lilly (M has their long fairy tutu & it’s gorgeous!) and Nubie
- Elf, cowboy, pirate costumes visit Nubie
– Pirates & Knights: or Little Star Parties
