Book Review: The Christmas Owl
This is a quaint little picture book that tells the sweet story of a barred owl that becomes injured when he falls out of a tree and is shown kindness by some forest friends. It’s a heartwarming wholesome story about friendship, trust and gratitude. There is a Santa-esque character to the owl who every year at christmas repays the kindness of his new friends.
The simple rhyming throughout helps the story flow and makes it even more endearing. This is the perfect book for reading all cuddled up on the couch in front of the fire, one of those stories that you say awwwwh to at the end xx
