Dogs don’t do ballet

Our favourite book at the moment is ‘Dogs don’t do Ballet’. It’s a hilarious story of a small dog called Biff with a big personality and even bigger dreams…of being a ballerina.

My dog is not like other dogs. He doesn’t do dog stuff like weeing on lamp posts, or scratching his fleas, or drinking out of the toilet. No, my dog likes moonlight and music and walking on his tiptoes.

My 3 and a half year old loves funny little story – it is quirky and original and the illustration style is so charming. Even daddy loves reading this book at bedtime.

32 page paperback. I bought it in O’Mahony’s bookshop for €5.99

The book is by Anna Kemp, illustrated by Sara Ogilvie
