for christmas + for ever

I’ve been saving this post for a few months – saving it just for Christmas.

It’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of children’s art and I love the idea of preserving our kid’s drawings and making them into personalised tote bags, tshirts, cushion covers or super cute Christmas ornaments – precious keepsake gifts for mum, for gran, for ever.

I had two of Molly’s doodles handstitched onto linen and framed in May, above ‘little miss high heels‘ and a sweet little angel for above her bed.

A little bit of forward planning is needed if you wanted to do something similar for someone special this christmas – keep your eyes peeled for ‘the right little doodle’.

If you are as useless in the stitching department as moi, then I’m sure Helen of CurlyBirds will help you out too :)
