gotta get your hands-up
Being uber fans of Justin’s House and Mr Tumble on CBeebies we have been willingly pressing play, rewind, play, rewind on his new album Hands-Up since receiving a review copy on Monday. It’s hard not to love children’s TV presenter Justin Fletcher, he is so good with children, with an absolutely infectious grin and a unwavering determination to humiliate himself for children’s amusement.
I’ve bought childrens song CD’s before and gritted my teeth through each and every predictable track, but I think what makes this feel-good album different is that Molly can picture Justin’s happy face singing each little ditty, and smiles away at each funny twist he puts on every song – like going Pavarotti mode in the middle of Teddy Bears Picnic!. She asks for it to be put on, a first, and goes gaga around the kitchen, with the volume on full!! If she’s happy then I’m happy. My only wish is that the theme song to Justin’s House was on the album. (I’ve overheard M saying ‘No Justin, I’m busy painting’ during one song when he said ‘sing with me!! tee hee)
It would be near impossible for any smallie to sit or stand still during the lead track Hands-Up, they just gotta do it and start jumping up and down (have a defibrillator nearby if you decide to join in :)
