Handprinting idea

This easy handprint craft idea is perfect for any season and was really quick to do. No need to buy anything – just gather a few leaves and a handful of grass. We started with M’s handprint for the branches (you can just about see it! – it would have been better if the handprint was in brown). I quickly drew on the trunk with a brown crayon, poured some craft glue onto a paper plate and showed her how to dip the leaves in the glue and pop them on where she wanted. I drizzled glue at the base on the tree and she placed the grass on top. Her favourite part I think was gluing on the daisy flower heads. My only tip would be to use a stamping pad for the handprint instead of messy paint. There is a bit of sweeping up after this one – you might find bits of grass around the floor for a while:)
