homemade christmas cards

Potato Printing, Finger Printing & Googly Eyes
An easy peasy cute Christmas Card to make at home with the humble spud and some acrylic paint. Our little waddle of toe tapping friends were finished this weekend – the To Do list is getting shorter ;;)
the Step By Step Tutorial follows
Step One: first pick a potato that suits the scale of your card and cut it in half. Use a good sharp knife so the cut is as smooth as possible. Paint the potato end with black acrylic (I brush on the paint instead of dipping to get the best coverage). Stamp the painted end onto the card and lift. Let this layer dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step Two: Repeat the above to create the fluffy white belly with a smaller potato and again let dry.

Step Three: finish out your penguins with some orange finger prints and some googly eyes.

Chica chica boom boom boom boom boom. Who wants to live in a world without penguins? Happy Feat
