Such a big hit with the kids

Our little Saturday clay class with Margaret Walsh in Ballycummin is working out really popular with the kids. To see the focus on their little faces and the delight in their eyes when they hold up their creations at the end of the class is soooo cute – makes all the running around worthwhile :)

This weekend Margaret took a break from modeling clay and treated them to a lesson in making light catchers. It was such a simple idea – the kids started by picking out their favourite images from colouring pages, then traced over the lines with a piece of acetate and glass paint (with Margaret’s help), and coloured it in with more glass paint.
