It’s Ogre

I just want to go home…now
Molly isn’t usually a nervous nelly when it comes to movies – if there’s a part she doesn’t like she just runs out of the room and runs back in a few second later all excited. She never had any fear of the eyebrow raising voodoo-man in Princess & The Frog, the wicked Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty or the nasty witch-queen in Snow White – but I’m afraid the surprisingly dark and scary Shrek4 reduced her to a quivering mess today. My friend and her daughter had brought M along to the cinema and I had to go and rescue her after about 20 minutes!! And right up to the second she fell asleep tonight she was unusually pensive and clingy, never left my side. She needed her dad to lie with her for a while after going to bed (and daddies are not allowed in princess beds, ever!) and within one hour we had our first nightmare – SMS just in that my friend’s kid has just woken up now too!! Thanks Shrek!!…
