look what I drawed!
You’ve probably recognised at this stage that I have a ‘bit of a crush’ on children’s drawings – they’re such incredible windows into their little worlds. M has been churning out drawings of all her little friends, their families, houses, rainbows and the odd octopus! for the last few months. I adore that everyone has a smiley face :)
So I put together this free download for ‘the MollyMoo Kids’ – ask your smallie to draw or paint a picture of themselves, their ‘self portrait’ (or even their goofy sidekick if they prefer!). Before you display it proudly on the fridge I would love if you would photograph and email it to email@example.com and I will put together a dedicated gallery page on this site (drawing, first name and age only) and on the new National Children’s Gallery site. I will also explore the possibility of putting a ‘drop box’ somewhere handy for parents who prefer the non-techy route.
Continue on to download and print…enjoy the magic
The MollyMoo Kids Gallery – Call for submissions
I would LOVE if you would ask your smallie to draw or paint a picture of themselves on this sheet – their ‘self portrait’ – they can use pencils, markers, paint, shiny things, pom poms…ie whatever their little heart desires. Before you display it proudly on the fridge photograph and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will publish our creative kids wall on a dedicated page on this site (drawing, first name and age only) and on the new National Children’s Gallery site.
Tips for photographing: get as close as you can without the image getting blurred and make sure you are photographing straight on. Please use a digital camera and not a camera phone.
