Fun stuff to try at home…
Each week this site will share new fun and cute craft ideas to make at home with your kids – developed and contributed by Denise Dolan, a qualified art teacher and recent graduate of the Limerick School of Art & Design. Step-by-step pictures and instructions will help keep the kids busy when school is out, and during long wet days at home!!

Piggy Bookmark
You will need:
– Strip of card or thick paper, 4cmx16cm
– Different coloured piece of card or thick paper 7cm square
– Pencil
– Scissor
– PVA craft glue
– 2 googly eyes
– Black marker
Step 1: Draw an outline of a pigs face and two trotters on the card 7cm square. Cut out the pigs head.
Step 2: Using a black marker, draw the nose and mouth, then add nostrils and ear creases. Colour the trotters black.
Step 3: Stick on the googly eyes.
Step 4: Glue the pig’s face to the top of the rectangular strip of card, ensuring the head sticks up about 2 cm over the top of the strip. Leave it to dry.
