sqoink – the wolf needs a bath
The Three Little Pigs Show in the Concert Hall was a big hit this morning. Rasher, the eldest pig, stole the show. He was very engaging with the children – seeking their advice at every turn. The kids were all very animated and oinked and squealed to their hearts delight from beginning to end. There was a wicked smell of damp dog every time the wolf came on stage (we heard a ‘he stinks’ from the kids in the front row :) and boy was the poor guy sweating under all that fur by the end of the show. Well done Talisman Theatre – ‘absolutely brilliant’ was our group’s verdict.
…I have to mention however that parents were advised by the box office when buying their tickets that seats were unallocated for the show so to arrive early and they would be seated before school groups. However on arrival (some even one hour early) parents were told the schools had blocked booked so they would be seated first and parents could take the seats that were left, in and around the schools…a fuss had to be made but feeling braver in numbers us parents and our smallies shuffled in together and enjoyed the show. This is the second year this ‘approach to parents’ has been taken and the second time in a week I have seen Limerick parents taken for granted!!
