She will never forget letter ‘M’

Over the past few months Molly has been really focused on recognising letters, especially M for obvious reasons (she sees her name everywhere!) so I thought decorating letters might help her along and we’d have a little fun at the same time. From things I had gathered and found we worked on this simple little idea.

I cut the letter from some coloured card and with craft glue Molly and I filled the letter with everything and anything we had in our bag of bits – buttons, stickers, pom poms, pipe cleaners, glitter, feathers and shredded paper. The finished letter was a little heavy to keep up on the fridge with magnets but it had the desired result – she will never forget the letter ‘M’. 25 more letters to go!

Where I got the materials: Silkes Stationery shop, 64 Catherine Street, Limerick and the Art & Hobby Shop, The Crescent Shopping Centre, Limerick
