Summer Crafts For Kids & DIY Garden Games
I’m alive!!! The last six weeks have been a complete wipeout in terms of making and blogging. Shoulder, elbow and wrist tendons torn with weeks of physio still ongoing, sigh!! what a pain.
Anyhoo I’m still here, hopefully missed (haha) and will get back to normal craft obsessing soonest.
In the meantime I’m overdue in sharing some of the summer crafts for kids I created as part of my summer brand ambassador programme with Nestle fab® Ice Cream, before I was forced away from my laptop.
Cardboard Ring Toss – DIY Garden Fun
Be prepared for infectious fun and giggles when you transform some humble scraps of cardboard into a DIY Game of Ring Toss for classic garden fun and healthy competition. Another fun and do-able craft made with everyday materials from around the house.

Shampoo Bottle Boat – with wine cork sailors
Turn your empty shampoo bottles into small colourful sailboats or pirate ships for fun and imaginative adventures in the bath, paddling pool or forest puddle.
Be prepared for hours of fun, because when you are finished making you child will have a toy to play with too!
These everyday recycling projects were created as part of the Sprinkles of Imagination campaign by the cool Nestle fab® Ice Cream team, which has been running over the summer months. Nestle want to help parents and children see the world with a sprinkle of imagination, the essence of the campaign, and the reason I chose to join in the fun as a campaign ambassador… with more fun and creative ‘imagination-led’ ideas planned for the coming weeks.
Have you joined in the fab® funday fun yet?
Check out the great ideas entered in the competition so far here. The competition to win a fantastic family trip to Disney World Florida or a weekly spot cash prize closes on August 31st, but the fun doesn’t have to stop until then. Click here for more inspiration.
