Toca Mini – our current favourite app for kids

Our favourite app for kids at the moment is Toca Mini – we’re hooked, and I mean ‘we’ :)

Toca Mini is all about creating – creating pretty dolls, halloween monsters or fantasy animals, the options are limitless. Starting with a blank white doll children can create their own special and unique characters by painting them, adding eyes, mouths, noses, eyebrows and hair, along with a host of other digital designs to decorate them.

I love the little sounds of approval that emerge as soon as you add the mouth – and how the little character spins, twirls, giggles and comes to life as you decorate.

We have all Toca’s apps to date and I think they are getting slicker and more interactive with each and each release. More reasons to love Toca Mini – there are no game levels, scores to keep, in-app purchase options or pop-up ads !!

My ONLY gripe is that it’s impossible to fill in the hair on the top of the head without painting it first.
